Ashley Czesak, LCSW

Founder, Your Path to Empowerment

When founding Your Path to Empowerment, I wanted to create a place where compassionate therapists empower women to navigate life’s ups and downs by taking a holistic approach to therapy that focuses on both mental and physical health. I believe that you are not a problem to solve, but a complex individual who is impacted by your environment, circumstances, and experiences. Looking at you as a whole person, not just your symptoms, allows me to better guide you on your journey and enhance your well-being so you can live a more joyful and fulfilled life.

I have had my own childhood trauma, challenges as a parent, and struggles with infertility and loss.  I hear you. I see you. And I want to help you get through to the other side.

Over the course of my career, I decided to specialize in women’s mental health and work with those struggling with depression, anxiety, low self-esteem and body image, trauma, perinatal and postpartum issues, infertility and pregnancy loss, and other life transitions. I help women of all ages and in all stages of life, from tweens and teens to empty nesters.

A Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of New Jersey, I earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Fairleigh Dickinson University and a master’s in social work from Rutgers University. In addition to these degrees, I have specialized training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems, Mindful Based Stress Reduction, and Perinatal Mood Disorders.

Whether you are looking for guidance on working through an issue or need professional help coming out of a dark time, I am here for you. Nothing is too big or too small. I will help you find clarity, sort out your emotions, and gain a better understanding of self so you can find balance and joy. I promise you a safe, judgment-free space where you can say what’s on your mind and work through the challenges you face.
