Katy Kubik, LSW
Women’s Mental Health, Anxiety, Grief & Depression

As women, we have a LOT to juggle in our daily lives and typically face a never-ending to-do list. It’s so common for us to be bombarded with challenges and demands in every direction that we don’t take the time to care for ourselves. But, self-care is so important for our mental and physical health – as well as getting what we want out of life. I’m here to help you find balance between work, family, and personal well-being, as well as achieve your goals.
Committed to putting your needs and feelings first, I offer an empathetic and non-judgmental environment to navigate through life stressors. Looking at you as a whole person, I will teach you coping mechanisms that are tailored to best suit YOU personally.
I received a master’s degree in social work from Rutgers University and a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Montclair State. Working in the social service field for over 20 years, I have a diverse background helping children and families in crisis, and have also worked in a behavioral health hospital for eight years. I specialize in depression, anxiety, grief, loss, and mood disorders. My therapeutic approach includes a mix of cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness – each chosen based on what I believe will best fit each client. As a mother, I can relate to many stressors we face on a daily basis.
