Stephanie Domnitz, LCSW

Navigating through life’s challenges can be hard, but you don’t have to do it on your own. I’m here in your corner to help you dig deep to uncover your feelings, wants, and needs, and create a personalized plan that will help you lead a happier, more fulfilled life.

My approach to therapy is client centered, meaning I look at the whole you, not just the symptoms you are experiencing, and use a mix of the therapeutic techniques that best fit your unique circumstances and goals. We will work collaboratively together helping you to build the skills you need to face what life throws your way. I take a compassionate approach, providing a safe space where you can share your thoughts and emotions without judgment, empowering you to become resilient and confident.

In my practice, I specialize in anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, trauma, and family stressors. I am a Licensed Clinical Social worker in the state of New Jersey, with a master’s degree from New York University. In addition to my degrees and license, I have certifications in Substance Abuse and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

My background as a full-time school-based therapist, enables me to effectively support young women and adolescents in today’s stressful world. I am passionate about promoting confidence and self-worth in youth, while managing interpersonal relationship struggles and navigating those challenges young adults face, whether that be decisions related to continuing education post high school, the transition to college, or whatever hardship they are facing.
