No matter where you are on your journey, we’re here to help you become your best self.

We don’t see you or your challenges in a silo; rather, we believe looking at you as a whole is the most effective way to assist you in overcoming your struggles. That’s why we take a holistic approach, offering our clients a blend of mental health therapy and complementary wellness services, including pelvic floor therapy, menopause coaching, and sexuality counseling. Our resident occupational therapist Melissa Morgan has special training in Sexual Education and Therapy, as well as Pelvic Floor Therapy. At Your Path to Empowerment, we’re committed to helping you embrace self-discovery, find acceptance, and boost your overall well-being.

Pelvic Floor Therapy

Do you find yourself leaking when you laugh? Experiencing pain with intercourse? Dealing with pelvic weakness during pregnancy or after childbirth? You’re likely suffering from “pelvic floor dysfunction”. Simply put, you’re having difficulty coordinating and/or controlling the muscles in this area. Through pelvic floor therapy, we’ll help you strengthen, relax, and improve the coordination of these muscles and ligaments. Taking a biopsychosocial approach, treating you as a whole person, we’ll focus on sensory and emotional factors to get to the root cause of your issues. During your sessions, we’ll address:

  • Strength
  • Flexibility
  • Movement
  • Sensitized nervous system
  • Exercises
  • Attitudes and beliefs

After evaluating your unique situation, we’ll create a treatment plan to alleviate your symptoms.

Perimenopause and Menopause Coaching

As women, we experience hormonal shifts with age that bring many undesirable effects:

  • Hot Flashes
  • Night Sweats
  • Mood Swings
  • Anxiety
  • Brain Fog
  • Difficulty Sleeping
  • Weight Gain
  • Vaginal Dryness
  • Reduced Interest in Sex
  • Joint Pain
  • Incontinence
  • Thinning Hair
  • Facial Hair
  • Loss of Confidence

It’s as if our body is betraying us. But we don’t have to sit back and take it. It’s time to prioritize yourself and your health in this next chapter, whether you are in perimenopause or menopause.

During personalized sessions, we’ll discuss what you’re experiencing, treatments you’ve tried, and your goals. We’ll address digestion issues, hormones, your immune system, nutrition, mindfulness, stress management, movement, recovery, and more. You’ll receive strategies for managing your symptoms effectively, including the possible use of replacement hormone therapy. We are here as your coach to give you the knowledge and support you deserve to prioritize your well-being in this new phase of life.
